Refund policy

This policy follows applicable Indian e-commerce and consumer protection guidelines. At The Inner Cult, some products are made-to-order (produced or printed after purchase), while others are ready-stock and shipped from our partner fulfillment centers. This policy applies to all products, with specific conditions where relevant.
1. What’s Eligible for Replacement or Refund We will repair, replace, or refund (depending on the situation) if:

The item arrives defective

The item arrives damaged

You receive the wrong product, color, or size
Issues caused before delivery or during transit are fully covered under this policy. Both made-to-order and ready-stock items are covered for genuine issues.
Not eligible for return or refund:

Change of mind
-
Ordering the wrong size / choosing the wrong fit

Disliking the material, color tone, or style

Items damaged after use, washing, or mishandling
-
Items returned without approval (no RMA)
-
Claims made after 7 days of delivery
Made-to-order items cannot be returned for size, fit, or preference issues due to custom production.
2. Claim Window & Required Proof All issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Required proof (best option): A continuous unboxing video clearly showing:

The sealed/unopened package

The shipping label
-
The product being removed
-
The defect/damage/issue
If no video, we may accept:

Clear photos of the package
-
Photos of the shipping label
-
Photos of the defect or incorrect item

Unboxing video or photos

A short description of the issue
3. What’s Not Eligible The following issues are not covered:

Change of mind after receiving the item

Wrong size or color chosen by customer

Preference issues (material feel, thickness, color tone)

Damage caused after delivery (washing, ironing, wear & tear)

Incorrect/incomplete address at checkout

Refused delivery or repeated failed attempts
-
Unauthorized returns without approval
Color/print variations may occur due to screen differences or production methods—these are not considered defects.
4. Resolution Process If your claim is approved, we will:

Repair or reprint & reship (made-to-order)

Replace the item
-
Refund (only if replacement is not possible)
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was our fault.
5. Order Cancellations Orders move into processing quickly.

Cancellations are possible only before production or printing begins.

Ready-stock orders can be canceled only before dispatch. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. Return Shipping & RMA Do not send items back without approval. If your claim is approved:

You will receive an RMA number

You will receive the correct return address
-
You will receive instructions based on product type
Return shipping responsibility:

If the issue is our fault → We cover shipping / prepaid label

If return is approved for any other reason → Customer pays shipping
Unauthorized returns will not be processed.
